ECAT-Kaliningrad organized the round-table dedicated to development of cooperation between WWTPs, water utilities, industries and environmental authorities. During the event, the project and its current results were presented, as well as main changes in regional and national legislation were introduced. Moreover, moderated discussion and interactive business game gave impetus to thought provoking outcomes. Round table participants emphasized the high importance of sustainable cooperation models development between WWTPs and industries with regard to industrial wastewater treatment. In addition, it was noted that there is a strong need in improvement of WWTPs operators’ education level and technical support from environmental authorities.
