Responsible sewage handling in a fish processing plant

Industries can protect Baltic Sea by handling their waste waters responsibly. Fish industry may cause trouble to the sewage system by discharging fat and fish offals, which can block the pipelines and create unpleasant smell. Rather simple solutions like large enough sieves in drains help to prevent problems in pipelines. Usage of wood fiber boxes instead of expanded polystyrene reduces plastic waste and prevents crumbling polystyrene entering the sewage water.
