Waste water and sludge handling experts and environmental engineers from Poland and Norway gathered 23 – 25 October in “WATER-SEWAGE-SLUDGE-ENERGY” conference in Poznań, Poland. Barbara Grzebulska from REC Poland and Alicja Loch-Dzido from Gdańsk Water Foundation introduced BEST project to the audience and utilized concurrent fair to gather expert contacts and views about industrial sewage treatment at the municipal waste water treatment plants from the participants. This information will be utilized when working towards a BEST goal of coherent knowledge of the current industrial sewage treatment situation in the Baltic Sea Region.
