The fourth international workshop of the Project BEST was arranged in Riga, Latvia.
The participants heard excellent presentations about the management of industrial wastewaters in the BSR, the topics concerning the current situation, legislation, success stories and still existing bottlenecks. The special focus was on food and dairy industry and the speakers presented very interesting cases about new investments and well-established pre-treatment of industrial waste waters and about cooperation between the industry and the local treatment plant.
